Who Are The Eulogy Writers?

Picture
The Eulogy Writers was founded in 2014 as a resource for people who have a desire to honor their loved one in a thoughtful, well prepared way. But the seed of The Eulogy Writers has been in the germination process for decades. Steve Schafer and Ralph DiBiasio-Snyder have been officiating at funerals for over thirty years and have written hundreds of eulogies each. Funeral guests so often commented that their eulogies were so heartfelt and genuine and honored the life of the one they had lost that they decided to expand their ministry to people everywhere. Family members WANT to say something in addition to what the pastor or officiant says about their loved one - and they should. With The Eulogy Writers, now they can. Each of our staff writers are committed to providing the best eulogies possible to those who need to express their love on that final day of farewell.

Steve Schafer - Eulogy Writer
Hello. My name is Steve Schafer. I’d like to start off by extending my deepest sympathy to you. If you are visiting our site, you have no doubt lost someone dear to you or that loss is imminent. I am so sorry.

Even though I can’t feel the grief you are experiencing right now, I have lost loved ones myself and can certainly feel for you in your loss. Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things we are called on to endure in this life. If we can, we'd like to help you, in some small way, make it through this trying time.

For the past four decades Ralph and I have done our best to help hundreds of people make it through the dark days of loss in their lives. We have done that through compassionate care and through writing wonderful tributes to memorialize their loved ones. We started The Eulogy Writers to make our work accessible to everyone, no matter where they live in the world.

We know that time is critical right now. Memorial or funeral services often happen just a few days after a death occurs. When a person is in grief, sitting down for a few hours to write is an almost overwhelming task. Please, if we can take some of that burden off of you and give you that time to be with your family, allow us to do so. Take a look at a few of the eulogies we've written and, if you like what you see, we'd like to write your loved one's story.

We take eulogy writing as a sacred trust. We promise that we will do our best to write a fitting tribute for you about your loved one and get it back to you as soon as possible (by tomorrow at this time at the latest). To get started, simply click HERE. After payment is made, you will immediately be taken to the "Collecting Memories" questionnaire. As soon as we receive the questionnaire telling about your loved one, we'll get started.

Again, you have our deepest sympathy.

Ralph Dibiasio-Snyder - Eulogy Writer

Hi. I'm Ralph DiBiasio-Snyder. Steve and I have been the best of friends most all of our adult lives.  Through those years we have supported one another in any number of ways and we've learned much from one another about helping people in their times of sorrow. We've found that the writing of eulogies - composing stories containing wonderful memories and love - to be one of the best things we can do. We'd love to help you pay tribute to your loved one by writing a great eulogy.

The purpose of a eulogy is to remember with deep gratitude and to honor with great joy that person’s life, giving thanks for all he or she brought to this world and to your life.  It is a time of speaking from one’s heart.  It is a time for sadness and tears, but also for joy and sometimes even laughter as you remember the whole person.

One of my greatest honors and joys is the crafting of a eulogy that does just that.  Each person is uniquely gifted;  each is wonderful and even awe-inspiring in their own way.  No one is perfect, of course, but all are worthy of celebration.  Our goal is to take the information and stories you share with us about your loved one and create a portrait that catches their essence and honors their life.

Steve said it well:  we would consider writing a eulogy for your loved one a sacred trust.  If you have been honored to be asked to give a eulogy, we would be honored to create it with you.

My name is Miriam Hill. There is no doubt about it: Steve and Ralph are the best at what they do. They’ve written literally hundreds of outstanding tributes to lost loved ones over the course of more than thirty years. I am so pleased to be a part of that long history of helping people in their time of loss.

I know that, when someone hires us to write a eulogy, they are putting a lot of trust in total strangers. But that trust is one of the motivating forces that causes us to always give our eulogies the best we have. We truly hope that our service to you will be a great help, that your loved one will be honored in the way you desire, and you will be relieved of the eulogy writing stress during some of the most difficult days of your life.

All of us at TheEulogyWriters have lost loved ones, so we know what you are going through (in ‘human experience’ terms anyway – not to suggest that we know exactly how you are grieving – no one can). But we do understand the numbness and sharpness of loss and sympathize sincerely with you.

I look forward to working with you to create the perfect tribute to the one you’ve lost. As is our policy, we’ll have it to you by tomorrow.

Hi – I’m Abi Galeas.  I know that writing eulogies is both a privilege and a responsibility. I take the task very seriously. I understand that in the midst of grief, it can be difficult to find the words to properly honor a loved one. That's why I believe that eulogy writing is an important service that we at The Eulogy Writers can provide to those who are grieving. Our team of writers have a natural gift for writing eulogies that are both touching and meaningful, and able to capture the unique essence of each person about whom we write. We are dedicated to helping others celebrate the life of their loved one in the most beautiful way possible.

The Eulogy Writers began because Steve and Ralph knew that writing a eulogy is an extremely difficult speech to write for anyone (even professional writers) when they are in the midst of grief. As eulogy writers, we must be able to handle the grief of our clients, be respectful and empathetic and be able to help them effectively communicate with those who will attend the funeral or memorial service.

All of us on the team have the skills to write eulogies that capture the best parts of your loved one's life and tell their story in the most meaningful way.
